About the Opportunity

This position plays a pivotal role in supporting Aboriginal home ownership, a key milestone for long-term stability and community connection.

Aboriginal Housing Victoria's RHPP pilot aims to empower individuals by recognizing their deep connections to their homes, families, and communities.

The successful candidate will contribute to the program's development, helping determine its ongoing feasibility through evaluation and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide critical guidance and information to the community about RHPP and Rent-to-Buy options.
  • Assess Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and make recommendations on approvals in collaboration with internal Directors.
  • Support the development of program evaluations to ensure sustainable outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Aboriginal societies and cultures, experience in developing corporate policies and procedures, high-level interpersonal and communication skills, analytical problem-solving skills, and highly organized time management.

This role requires travel, and applicants must submit a resume and cover letter addressing the key selection criteria.
