Cafe Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated Cafe Supervisor to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced cafe.

About the Role

As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the cafe. This includes overseeing day-to-day operations, managing stock levels, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Making and serving coffee and other beverages
  • Taking orders and preparing and plating food
  • Maintaining stock levels and effective stock rotation
  • Operating a POS and EFTPOS machine with cash handling duties
  • Cafe cleaning duties including cleaning coffee machines and equipment
  • Maintaining a clean service area according to food safety standards

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to supervise the day-to-day operations of the cafe
  • Barista experience is essential
  • Customer focused with a positive attitude
