Midwifery Team Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Midwife to join our multidisciplinary team at the Broken Hill Hospital as a Clinical Midwifery Specialist Grade 2 Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Midwifery Unit Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of the Core team of midwives working in a continuity of midwifery-led care model.
  • Supervise registered midwives, new graduate midwives, and students, and provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
