Job Title: Front End Assistant

Join Costco Wholesale as a Front End Assistant in our Melbourne warehouse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth and efficient shopping experience for our members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist cashiers by loading member merchandise on the conveyor belt, packing member orders into boxes, and transferring member orders to a separate cart or flatbed.
  • Perform Front End opening and closing tasks, including placing returned or moved product back to their allotted spots in the warehouse, collecting register paperwork, stocking registers, and cleaning the Front End area.
  • Follow proper safety procedures and standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Must be available 7 days a week, rotating shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, compulsory days.
  • Must have a valid RSA certification.
  • Must be able to smile and greet customers courteously for each rostered shift.
  • Position is KPI driven.

  • Team Player - Cooperates well with a variety of personalities and individuals and participates in a professional manner to accomplish the business goal.
  • Flexibility - Adjusts positively to change in direction or assignment, ability to do more than one task during a work shift.

Responsible Service of Alcohol certification is required per applicant.
