Job Title: Front End Assistant

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a Front End Assistant to join our team at Costco Wholesale in Melbourne.

Job Summary:

As a Front End Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, assisting with loading merchandise onto the conveyor belt, packing orders into boxes, and transferring items to a separate cart or flatbed. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the register area, retrieving carts and flatbeds, and following proper safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, including greeting, loading merchandise, and answering questions.
  • Assist with loading merchandise onto the conveyor belt, packing orders into boxes, and transferring items to a separate cart or flatbed.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the register area, including sweeping and cleaning spills and trip hazards.
  • Retrieve carts and flatbeds from the parking area using a rope with clasping hook.
  • Follow proper safety procedures and standards, including wearing personal protective equipment and reporting hazards.
Requirements:
  • Must be available to work 7 days a week, rotating shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
  • Must have a valid RSA certification.
  • Must be able to smile and greet customers courteously for each rostered shift.
  • Position is KPI driven.

Licenses and Certifications:

Responsible Service of Alcohol certification is required per applicant.
