Pediatric Rehabilitation Speech Pathologist Role in Melbourne

As a speech pathologist within the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service at RCH, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality clinical services to inpatients and outpatients with communication and/or swallowing difficulties.
This is a fixed-term, part-time position available to cover parental leave, with a classification ranging from VW1-VW4 Grade 2 Year 1 to Grade 2 Year 4. The estimated annual salary for this role is $88,467 - $101,691 plus superannuation.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat paediatric patients with communication and/or swallowing disorders
- Provide innovative, evidence-based rehabilitation services
- Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
Requirements:
- Hold a degree in speech pathology from an accredited university
- Be eligible for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
- Experience in providing speech pathology services to children with communication and swallowing disorders
- Clinical experience in rehabilitation management of children or adolescents with acquired brain injury and neuro-developmental disorders
