Lead Pharmacy Professional

The role of Lead Pharmacy Professional presents an exciting opportunity to practice rural healthcare in a hospital setting. As part of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and providing pharmacy services, with rotational responsibilities as required.

The successful applicant will be involved in:

  • Provision of clinical pharmacy services to the acute inpatient ward and medication safety improvements
  • Involvement in provision of oncology pharmacy services in collaboration with cancer care centres
  • Management of PBS claiming, particularly Efficient Funding of Chemotherapy programs

We are seeking a self-motivated, experienced pharmacist who holds a current registration and has experience in delivering clinical pharmacy services. A postgraduate qualification or working towards one is desired. The ideal candidate will have experience in the hospital pharmacy setting, with skills in operational management being an advantage.
