We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our civil construction team in Perth. As a key member of our global team, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of large projects and develop your skills with renowned subject matter experts.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Project Manager to lead and manage complex civil construction projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in site-based construction management, particularly in mining infrastructure construction activities such as tailings storage facilities, pre-strip mining, road construction, airstrip construction, and bulk earthworks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, including experience in planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. They will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The Project Manager will also be responsible for managing and motivating a team of experienced engineers and technicians to achieve project objectives. They will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and coworkers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex civil construction projects from start to finish.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Manage and motivate a team of experienced engineers and technicians to achieve project objectives.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with project delivery.
  • Coordinate and manage external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and contractors.
  • Prepare and submit regular project reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 7 years of postgraduate experience in a similar position, preferably in a civil construction environment.
  • Extensive experience in site-based construction management, particularly in mining infrastructure construction activities.
  • Strong background in project management, including experience in planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and coworkers.
