The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing personalized care plans for clients, ensuring their health and well-being aligns with medical requirements and individual preferences.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in Gordon, working closely with the Residential Manager to ensure clinical excellence in the home.

To be successful in this role, you will have solid clinical experience, proven leadership capabilities and a true passion for enhancing the life and wellbeing of residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish comprehensive communication between the multidisciplinary team within the facility and other relevant staff.
  • Work closely with residents' families, ensuring they are fully informed about clinical issues relating to their relative.
  • Mentor staff and share clinical knowledge and skills to contribute to the effective functioning of the team.
Requirements:
  • Current nursing registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as Care Manager or senior Registered Nurse within Aged care.
  • A 'hands on' approach to ensuring quality clinical care.
  • The ability to supervise, delegate and work as part of a team.
  • A commitment to the Christian values of Anglicare.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of aged care accreditation standards.
  • Post graduate study in relevant discipline/s (geriatrics, dementia, palliative care) highly desirable.
