The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Test Engineer to join our Global Product and Solutions team. As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for maximizing the quality of software delivered to customers by writing and executing test plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write and execute test plans to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Coordinate factory and site testing specifications and reports for assigned projects
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Plan and coordinate all testing activities to meet project deadlines
  • Provide leadership to less experienced team members and assist in their development
  • Collaborate with the IT Engineering group for customer support and provide product expertise to support the sales process
  • Follow Dematic's development quality processes and procedures
  • Contribute to the improvement of software testing processes and take an active role in development team processes to improve product testability
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in software test engineering
  • Degree in software engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering
  • Solid understanding of.NET, C#, and SQL Server
  • Experience developing test automation and using scripting languages such as Ruby or Python
  • Experience testing software solutions in the mechatronics/robotics/automation domains
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Understanding of OHS requirements
  • Willingness and availability to travel to customer sites throughout the Asia Pacific region
