Job Description

As a Solid Plastering Trainer and Assessor, you will play a key role in the growth and success of our training programs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, prepare, deliver, and assess vocational education and training programs for students in solid plastering.
  • Conduct workplace training and assessment for students on a day-to-day basis.
  • Develop innovative learning practices and delivery options to enhance the program area's capacity to meet student needs.
  • Plan and organize training and assessment to produce a high-level learning experience for students.
  • Promote and market services to prospective clients in the trade industry.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Hold a CPC31020 - Certificate III in Solid Plastering (or equivalent).
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment - we can assist with this qualification if needed.
  • Demonstrated industry work history as a solid plasterer.
  • Ability to plan and organise training, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years technical experience as a solid plasterer.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in delivering classroom-based training (preferable).
  • Trainee and apprentice supervision and training experience is highly regarded.
