Job Overview:

Highly skilled Electrical and Controls Team Lead required to design and program control systems for innovative equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of engineers to design, develop, and implement control systems for cutting-edge equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate high-tech components, including precision manipulators, optical instruments, robots, lasers, and cameras.
  • Ensure assembly accuracies meet micron-level requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to improve yield and throughput.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in automation and control systems design and implementation.
  • Proven track record of leading controls development on large projects and coordinating electrical and control engineers.
  • Excellent knowledge of software development best practices and industrial fieldbuses for machine control.
  • Strong understanding of electrical panel/cabinet layout and wiring.
  • Ability to perform safety calculations for safety control circuits.
  • Leadership and management skills to lead and manage a small team of electrical and controls engineers.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience with CAD modeling software for mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Proficiency in Beckhoff TwinCAT3 and TwinSAFE PLC development environments.
