Key Responsibilities of Senior Distribution Design Engineer

To undertake, coordinate and approve complex engineering designs associated with distribution networks.

  1. Production, coordination, analysis and approval of accurate project inputs and outputs for work associated with the distribution network.
  2. Complete all documentation, technical assessments, entering and maintaining information in applicable computer systems.
  3. Ensure technical compliance across the design community to design and specifications.
  4. Provide high-level technical support and guidance to team members and other work groups.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and relevant experience in utility companies.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Eligible for corporate membership of The Institution of Engineers, Australia.
  • 8-10 years' experience in a utility company.

This role is based at our South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, located next to Tonkin Highway. Spanning 120,000 square meters, the depot features the latest infrastructure and technology.
