We are seeking a highly skilled Podiatrist to join our team in Mount Isa, providing essential healthcare services to rural communities. As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the health and well-being of our clients.
About the RoleThis challenging and rewarding role involves assessing and treating patients with a wide range of foot conditions, including those related to diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, and peripheral vascular disease. You will also provide education to patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and disability management, working closely with specialists to develop comprehensive care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with complex foot conditions
- Provide patient education on disease prevention and management
- Collaborate with specialists to develop comprehensive care plans
- Current registration with AHPRA or eligibility to obtain registration
- A relevant Podiatry qualification
- A current, unrestricted 'C' class Australian Driver's License
- The right to live and work in Australia
- Varied Clinical Caseload: Work with a diverse range of clinical cases, enhancing your skills across all areas of podiatry
