**Job Description**

We are seeking skilled and experienced professionals to join our team as Construction Formworkers.

As a key member of the construction team, you will be responsible for interpreting construction drawings and formwork designs, constructing and installing formwork, and conducting pre-pour inspections to ensure readiness for concrete placement.

You will also be required to strip formwork without damaging finished concrete surfaces, work closely with crane crews and supervisors to ensure safe lifting sequences, and conduct pre-lift checks on gear.

Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring exclusion zones and barricades are established and maintained, participating in critical lift planning, and adhering to safety procedures and best practices.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Interpret construction drawings and formwork designs to build accurate formwork.
  • Construct and install formwork for footings, columns, walls and decks.
  • Conduct pre-pour inspections to ensure readiness for concrete placement.
  • Strip formwork without damaging finished concrete surfaces.
  • Work closely with crane crews and supervisors to ensure safe lifting sequences.
  • Conduct pre-lift checks on gear.
  • Ensure exclusion zones and barricades are established and maintained.
  • Participate in critical lift planning.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**

  • Strong experience in multi-story construction projects.
  • Proven experience in shuttering.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • At least 3 years' experience in the commercial construction industry.
  • Available work references.
  • Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual labor.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Reliable, punctual and safety conscious.
  • Able to work efficiently within a team and meet production targets.
  • Work rights. White Card. High Risk Licence (RB, RI or RA)
