This role offers a unique opportunity to prioritise student safety and wellbeing. As a Student Support Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for students seeking support regarding personal safety, mental health, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver supportive interventions and coordinate case management plans to cater to students experiencing mental health challenges, trauma, or crisis.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish safe, inclusive, and supportive pathways for students.
- Experience working with clients experiencing mental health challenges, trauma, or crisis.
- A degree in a relevant field and at least four years' related experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Full registration with a relevant accreditation body, AASW, or working toward it within 12 months.
