**Job Opportunity**

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Digital Experience Specialist. As a key member of our digital team, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our websites to ensure a positive user experience.

This role requires technical expertise in web development and maintenance, as well as front-end development skills to improve the website's design and usability.

You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of Council's website(s), and provide high-quality training, guidance, and support to ensure all users across the organisation follow established procedures and conventions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape a smarter, more connected digital future for our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage Council's websites to ensure a positive user experience
  • Develop and implement web development strategies to improve website design and usability
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of information and services
  • Provide high-quality training, guidance, and support to users across the organisation
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma qualifications in Marketing and Communications or a related field
  • Solid experience in website administration, analysis, and strategy development
  • Proficiency in web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), content management systems (CMS), and server administration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
