KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing multiple internal audit, control assurance, and risk management consulting projects concurrently with various team members for each engagement, including assisting with planning, execution, and staff scheduling;
- Assisting in the formulation of client deliverables (e.g., strategic internal audit plans, scope documents);
- Overseeing the execution of fieldwork and documentation of findings (e.g., maintaining the audit file);
- Identifying findings and issues, and aiding in the preparation of client reports;
- Contributing to the firm's business development initiatives;
- Collaborating with other divisions;
- Addressing technical challenges and assisting in the preparation of technical position papers;
- Facilitating the development of team members; and
- Supporting the management and coordination of the internal audit team, including training, mentoring, and adherence to methodologies.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Essential:
- Relevant tertiary degree and/or qualification.
Desirable:
- Relevant certification or professional membership.
EXPERIENCE & QUALITIES:
Essential:
- 2-3 years of professional practice experience;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Meticulous attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively;
- Capable of utilizing resources effectively to enhance engagement outcomes through self-management;
- Delivering exceptional service in response to client needs;
- Managing a client portfolio to ensure timely responses to all client requirements;
- Knowledge and application of practice development skills.
