Marketing and Communications Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team at Hilton Sydney. This is a key role that will lead the marketing and communications function, driving the implementation of marketing and communications plans and strategies.

About the Role
  • This position involves leading both the marketing and communications functions for the hotel as well as increasing awareness across commercial drivers.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing commercial strategy, managing stakeholders, and executing tactical marketing activities across all areas of the hotel.
  • In addition, they will support strategic marketing activities and increase the profile, share of voice, and reputation value for Hilton Sydney among targeted media and content creators.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in marketing in a performance-driven setting.
  • A degree-level qualification in business, marketing, or PR/communications.
  • Experience in travel and tourism is preferred but not essential.
  • The ability to liaise and influence all levels of the business.
  • A commercial, results-oriented attitude and approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive, motivated, and energetic approach to meeting deadlines and targets.
  • Knowledge of the Sydney market.
  • Flexibility.
  • Creativity.
  • High-level IT skills, including Microsoft Office, CMS, Canva, Adobe, and major design software.
  • Excellent organizational and administration skills with attention to detail.
  • Well-presented and able to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a full understanding of professional ethics, decorum, and social skills required for extensive interaction with customers and team members.
