We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Global Employment and Expatriate Tax Specialist.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in employment tax compliance, consulting, and payroll management. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities- Attend meetings with corporate clients and expatriate employees
- Conduct research and draft advice on complex tax matters
- Prepare Australian tax returns for Japanese expatriate employees
- Review and lodge FBT returns during compliance periods
- Participate in pay compliance projects, including reviewing industrial instruments and payroll data analysis
- Liaise with regulators and stakeholders
- Final year or recent undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, Business, or related fields
- Fluent Japanese language skills
- Understanding of Japanese corporate culture and experience working in Japan
- Eligibility for postgraduate studies (CA/CPA, CFA)
- Available to start in January 2026
