Aveo is looking for a skilled individual to join our team at The Manors of Mosman retirement village. This welcoming community is set amidst lush gardens and grounds, conveniently located in the prestigious suburb of Mosman.

We are seeking a Leisure and Lifestyle Officer who will work collaboratively with residents to coordinate exciting events, activities, and services that cater to their interests and needs.

  • Motivate and engage residents to participate in a wide range of experiences, including physical, social, and community-orientated activities.
  • Come up with creative ideas for events and activities that promote independence and social connections among residents.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including residents and staff, to deliver programs that build participation and foster a sense of community.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver fun, inclusive, and exciting activities on a regular schedule, such as themed restaurant nights, weekly trivia, event outings, cooking demonstrations, and more.
  • Deliver a holistic activities program that promotes independence, learning new hobbies, and enabling social connections among residents.
  • Create schedules for all new events and distribute monthly newsletters highlighting upcoming events.
  • Be the welcoming face to new residents, ensuring they feel engaged and supported during their transition to our community.
  • Complete general ad-hoc duties, including conducting feedback surveys, attending meetings, and general administrative tasks.
