We are currently seeking an innovative and enthusiastic **Lifestyle Officer** to look after our Sirius Cove Aged Care home based at **Mosman** with highly developed interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellence. The role of the Lifestyle Officer is responsible for providing leisure and recreational activities to enhance the psychological, spiritual, social and emotional wellbeing of residents. **To be successful in this position you will possess the following**: - Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle (Desirable) - Experience planning & facilitating Lifestyle and Wellbeing programs - Competent documentation skills and computer skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills and be committed to continuous quality improvement - Empathy with elderly residents and their families - Previous experience in Aged Care & Dementia Care (Residential aged care and or experience working with clients with dementia preferred) - Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain - Current Influenza Vaccination, or willingness to get vaccinated - Full work rights in Australia - Current NDIS Worker Screening Check - Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 **Benefits**: - 24/7 RN cover in the homes - Specialised resource team to support the homes such as: Dietitians, Speech Pathologists, ACFI Coordinators, Quality Coordinators and Physiotherapists. - Flexible working arrangements - Access to 24/7 Employee Assistance Program - Free flu vaccination annually - Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Our home is dynamic and caring and offers employment opportunities for professional development, training and career advancement to the right people.
