Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Centre Manager to join our growing Real Estate Management Services team in a busy shopping centre. The team drives to maximize the performance of our client's assets by providing an integrated solution that seamlessly connects leasing, marketing, centre management, and facilities management all through one point of contact.
Main Responsibilities
- Asset Presentation and Maintenance: Oversee the presentation and maintenance of the asset, ensuring a high standard of presentation at all times.
- Landlord and Retailer Liaison: Maintain close liaisons with the landlord(s) and foster effective working relationships with them alongside the retailers.
- Leasing and Vacancy Management: Assist in driving the leasing of the Centre through local market contacts, canvassing new retailers in the local market, and assisting the Colliers Leasing team in achieving and maintaining a zero vacancy level.
- Contract and Report Preparation: Prepare all related contracts, reports, budgets, reconciliations, correspondence, and documentation.
- Strategic Planning and Marketing: Assist in compiling and implementing the division's strategic plan and marketing strategy.
- Communication and Advice: Communicate frequently with the owner and all tenants, providing timely, relevant, and professional advice on all aspects of the management of the property.
Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate will hold a current Real Estate License and demonstrate proven experience in a Retail or Centre Management role. Strong financial experience and sound knowledge of relevant legislation are essential, as is the ability to prioritize to ensure business objectives are achieved. This is a highly visible role to the senior leadership team, and therefore, the ability to communicate effectively and build positive and productive working relationships is key.
