Your Next Role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Professional to manage critical aspects of our Purchasing activities and provide leadership to our Teams.

You should have proven capabilities in managing teams, a supplier base and supply contracts. You will also have the ability to develop strategic relationships with suppliers and formulate risk mitigation strategies to ensure that purchasing initiatives improve the overall performance of our project efforts.

This is a senior role within the organisation, involving high level planning, organising, leadership and control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the efficient supply of quality materials and subcontracted services in support of production and engineering requirements.
  • Ensuring adherence to established procedures in accordance with quality system standards.
  • Overseeing purchasing and stores activities to ensure compliance with recordkeeping and inventory requirements.
  • Management of internal processes and suppliers using metrics-based methodology to track performance.
  • Implementation of Corporate processes and procedures.
  • Participating in bids and proposals.

Requirements

You will need to have some or all of the following experience and skills:

  • Australian Citizenship and ITAR eligibility.
  • Qualifications in Business/Supply Chain/Purchasing.
  • Relevant experience within a Purchasing environment.
  • Experience supervising or managing small to medium sized teams.
  • Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Discretion with confidential information.
