As a Retail Trainer, you will be responsible for coaching and uplifting remote retail teams across NT & QLD. This role involves travel, training, and making a real impact in the field.

Retail Training Role

You will join a purpose-led organisation that supports remote Indigenous communities across Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. As a Retail Trainer, you will be on-the-ground coaching, travelling to stores, and uplifting retail standards where it matters most. This is a hands-on, rewarding, and impactful position.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate retail leader who thrives on building others up. You will travel to stores, coach local teams, and enhance retail standards in meaningful ways.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Deliver training on store operations, merchandising, customer service, and food retail fundamentals
  • Coach and mentor Store and Duty Managers to improve performance and develop their teams
  • Identify skill gaps and tailor training support accordingly
  • Provide operational relief in stores when needed
  • Promote safe work practices, cultural awareness, and community connection

Who We're Looking For
  • Experience in supermarket, food retail, or remote community retail
  • Proven background in training, area management, or relief store leadership
  • Culturally sensitive and adaptable in diverse environments
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Certificate III in Retail (or willingness to obtain)
  • A valid C Class driver's licence
Desirable Qualifications
  • Remote store management experience
  • Forklift Licence
  • First Aid qualification
  • 4WD training
  • HR/MR driver's licence
