Safety Focused Track Protection Officer

Safety-focused and enthusiastic applicants are sought to join the team as Track Protection Officers in either Sarina or Rockhampton.
The Track Protection team specialises in ensuring the safety of workers on track. We cover a wide range of customers both internal and external across the Network.
We require:
- Vast distances covered requires teamwork to execute Safety Critical Communication & Network Lockout with Network Control, Responsible Workers and other Protection Officers.
- Multitasking skills are essential to manage multiple workgroups with rail traffic within sites.
In this role, you will support current Protection Officers in managing an allocated worksite proactively and autonomously to ensure safe working incidents do not occur.

To be successful in this role, you need to complete testing, a medical, reference checks and hold a C-Class QLD Manual drivers' licence or minimum P2 (preferred).
Our Recruitment Process includes online testing, interview and in-person testing, Cat 2 rail medical, traffic history infringement check – to provide a safe driving history record and 5 years reference checking.
