Job Opportunity

We are embarking on a comprehensive transformation initiative with a key focus across full-stack design expertise, leveraging .NET and Next.js technologies.

You will possess knowledge that spans both development and operations, including coding, infrastructure management, system administration/engineering, and DevOps toolchains.

  • As a Principal Software Engineer, you will lead the design and technical strategy for the Group's flagship Merchant Modernisation Project, delivering full-stack solutions with a strong emphasis on front-end development using Next.js or React, while also running backend services using .NET and .NET Core.

  • You will be accountable for significant portions of large platforms end-to-end, from teams to security, performance, and reliability.

  • You will drive major technical decisions in design and architecture and translate this into pragmatic engineering design decisions.

  • You will partner with stakeholders designing our overall tech direction, advising and influencing on technologies and complex integration strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage hands-on technical subject-matter expertise to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Design and deliver full-stack solutions with a strong focus on front-end development using Next.js or React.

  • Run backend services using .NET and .NET Core.

  • Partner with stakeholders to design our overall tech direction.

  • Advise and influence on technologies and complex integration strategies.

  • Drive innovative process improvements that add significant business value.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency in full-stack software development, including front-end development using Next.js or React, and backend services using .NET and .NET Core. Knowledge of DevOps toolchains, system administration/engineering, and infrastructure management.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.

Experience working with Agile methodologies and version control systems.
