About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Casual School Bus Driver to join our team at Transit Systems (Victoria).

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who value work-life balance and are looking for a flexible schedule.

As a Casual School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, while providing a positive and supportive environment for our young passengers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students on board, including assisting with loading and unloading.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
  • Participate in regular training and professional development to maintain and improve driving skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • MR or above Australian driver's license.
  • Driver accreditation.
  • A valid Working with Children Check.
  • A good driving history.
  • Experience driving commercial passenger vehicles.
  • Ideally, you will have at least 1 year experience as a bus operator.
