About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Casual School Bus Driver to join our team at Transit Systems (Victoria).

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a flexible work arrangement, with a mix of morning and afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday.

As a Casual School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, while providing a positive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students on board, including handling emergencies and incidents.
  • Develop positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance driving skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Australian driver's license (MR or above).
  • Driver accreditation.
  • A valid Working with Children Check.
  • A good driving history.
  • Experience driving commercial passenger vehicles.
  • Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of experience as a bus operator.
