Job Description

A skilled Florist is required to create and maintain beautiful floral arrangements for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent creativity, and the ability to work independently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design stunning floral arrangements for various occasions and events.
  • Select and procure flowers, foliage, and other materials in accordance with customer preferences and seasonal availability.
  • Prepare and condition flowers to ensure optimal freshness and longevity.
  • Manage inventory levels of flowers, supplies, and equipment, ordering new stock as necessary.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and offering personalized advice on flower selection and arrangement design.
  • Operate cash registers and process transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Deliver high-quality floral arrangements to customers or venues, ensuring timely and reliable service.
  • Create visually appealing displays of flowers and plants to attract customers and promote sales.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, including regular cleaning of vases, tools, and equipment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and best practices in floral design.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and creating various types of floral arrangements.
  • Able to manage inventory and order supplies effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills for operating cash registers and handling transactions.
