About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and caring support staff to join our team.

As a key member of our school support team, you will contribute to creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs.

You will work closely with teachers to support individuals and small groups in classroom settings, helping students build independence through engaging, personalised learning.

The successful applicants will have strong interpersonal skills, effective communication and time management skills, and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting students individually and in small groups to work towards goals outlined in Individual Behaviour Support Plans, Individual Curriculum Plans, and Targeted Support Plans, under teacher direction.
  • Preparing classroom resources as directed by teachers.
  • Supervising individuals and small groups of students as directed by teachers.
  • Completing required health-related training to support and supervise individual students as needed.
  • Assisting with health-related needs of students, including administering medication, feeding, and toileting (training provided).
