About the Role

Green Light is seeking a highly skilled SAS/SQL Developer to join our Sydney delivery team. As a key member of our team, you will work extensively with an enterprise financial end customer, delivering excellence in data analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Design, construct, and implement new data feeds to the SAS data warehouse, build complex reports for the business, and be involved in the maintenance of SAS ETL Extract-Transform-Load programs.
  • SAS Component Development: Design and develop SAS components to extract data from multiple sources, design and code changes to enhance the Financial Platform, and design dynamic and reusable SAS components for data validation.
  • Collaboration and Mentoring: Work across Enterprise Services, understand the end-to-end implications of application implementations, and mentor colleagues to develop their skill sets in SAS coding, information maps, stored processes, web reports, and SAS administration.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop Data flux components for data standardization, build SAS MI reports to support the business team, and assist with SAS administration, including performance tuning and scheduling programs.
Requirements
  • Business Knowledge and Quantitative Modelling: Strong business knowledge and quantitative modelling capabilities.
  • Business Performance and Analytics: Strong understanding of business performance and analytics concepts and applications.
  • Impact Analysis and Risk Assessment: Ability to perform impact analysis on upstream, internal, and external changes to the data and systems.
  • Technical Skills: SAS experience developing, configuring, and administering SAS solutions, experience with SAS 9.4 - Base SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Data Integration (DI) Studio, SQL Programming, Teradata, and Atlassian toolset of JIRA, Confluence, and BitBucket.
