As a SQL Server Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines to manage and streamline the catalogue data for our Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data ETL pipelines on SQL Server using T-SQL and stored procedures.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop solutions.
  • Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, resolving issues promptly.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data pipeline processes and workflows.
  • Work with the broader team to improve technology solutions and ways of working.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on pipeline development and maintenance.
  • 3+ years of experience writing T-SQL on Microsoft SQL Server or similar technology.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL-based database systems and data modelling.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with the automotive industry and vehicle catalogue data is a plus.
