Research Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Manager to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will allow you to utilize your research skills to inform business strategy.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing ongoing research projects, including questionnaire design, fieldwork, analysis, and reporting.
  • They will deliver insights to inform strategy, brand growth, and audience engagement.
  • Responsibilities will also include supporting RFPs and solution design, identifying appropriate research methodologies.
  • The ideal candidate will work with multiple data sources to generate actionable recommendations.
  • They will manage relationships with external data providers and internal stakeholders.
  • The Research Manager will interpret data and prepare reports communicating high-quality findings.
  • They will contribute to the development of our global sports and analytics toolkit.
  • Additionally, they will enhance product solutions and frameworks integrating research and insights.
  • The successful candidate will create training materials for internal staff and departments.
  • They will foster relationships with external suppliers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years in quantitative research, preferably in sports, entertainment, or media.
  • Strong skills in research design, analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficient in tools like SPSS and survey platforms.
  • Experience with syndicated data and secondary sources.
  • Passion for sports and entertainment, with a collaborative approach.
  • Comfortable as a subject matter expert and building new capabilities.
  • Adaptable and interested in emerging trends and technologies.
  • Experience from agencies like Kantar or Nielsen is a plus.
