Environmental Stewardship Professional

The Sustainability Manager will be responsible for coordinating initiatives to improve the organization's sustainability performance, delivering on our Sustainability Action Plan, and managing environmental risk and compliance. This role will also involve fulfilling internal and external sustainability reporting requirements, implementing change management strategies, and leading staff and external stakeholder engagement on sustainability issues.
This is a full-time position with a 35-hour workweek, requiring up to 2 years of commitment with a possibility of ongoing appointment. The ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a field related to Sustainability, engineering, building, or construction, and/or equivalent relevant industry experience
- Experience in delivering projects related to Sustainability
- Effective communication, engagement, and change management skills
- Experience with greenhouse gas emission accounting, and utility and waste data management
