Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned software professional to lead our development efforts. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with stakeholders to identify user requirements and develop innovative solutions.

  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements for a scenario.
  2. Drive identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform.
  3. Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to establish and improve performance, maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).
  4. Leverage subject-matter expertise of product features and partner with stakeholders (e.g., project managers) to drive project plans, release plans, and work items.
  5. Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), guiding other engineers by developing and following the playbook, monitoring systems for issues, alerting stakeholders, and initiating actions to restore services as needed.
  6. Proactively seek new knowledge and adapt to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns to improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance, while driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required. 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python are also necessary. Alternatively, equivalent experience may be considered.

  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
