Pastry Cook Position

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team at Ferguson Plarre Bakehouses.

In this role, you will work hands-on at our well-equipped production facility producing a wide range of laminated pastries including Croissant and Danish varieties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce pastry and other baked goods to our high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders and meet production targets.
  • Ensure Food Safety, HACCP, and quality standards are met.
  • Have a strong commitment to workplace occupational health & safety.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualifications (pastry or equivalent) desirable, however not essential if you are highly experienced.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced food environment is essential.

Please note: Public transport is quite challenging in this area and as such, you will need a car to get here.
