Job Description

Position Overview

Catholic Education Western Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Principal to join our team. As a key member of the school leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational direction of our institution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the school's educational programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with Catholic Education Western Australia's strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies to improve student outcomes and engagement.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance the school's curriculum and instructional practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers in their professional development and growth.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and projects, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.

    • Demonstrate a proven track record of leadership and management experience in an educational setting.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in education or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Have a minimum of seven years' experience in education, with a strong background in leadership and management.
  • Registration
    • Be registered as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA).

Desirable Expertise and Experience

  • Special Needs
    • Have experience working with students with special needs.
  • Accreditation to Lead
    • Hold accreditation to lead in religious education.
