Public Area Attendant Opportunity

This role is available for a Public Area Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. As a key member of the crew, you will play a vital part in ensuring our shared spaces are consistently clean and meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the property always looks its best, inside and out
  • Spruce up both indoor and outdoor public areas (including pool, gym and shared bathrooms) to meet our cleanliness and presentation standards
  • Support room attendants with room cleaning and linen removal as needed
  • Handle specialised equipment and chemicals with safety in mind
  • Offer help to guests with inquiries and security matters, and collaborate with different departments to accomplish tasks
  • Be the eyes and ears for our maintenance and guest services teams, reporting any issues promptly

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role (as a cleaner/room attendant/public areas attendant) is a plus
  • Your communication style should be warm and welcoming, making both guests and team members feel at ease
  • You have an eye for detail and work efficiently, managing your time well and taking pride in your tasks
  • Adaptability and physical fitness to work in both internal and external environments, including staircases and uncovered areas
  • You enjoy collaborating with colleagues from various backgrounds
  • Capable of embracing a flexible rotating schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends, and public holidays as required
