Senior Product Owner - Life COO

This role plays a pivotal part in modernising our front-office investment systems.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the front office, risk, quant and vendor teams to define, prioritise and deliver requirements that support business growth and operational efficiency.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute significantly to a market leading life business and well-respected investment firm.

  • Owning the product delivery for high-profile strategic transformation initiatives.
  • Defining and documenting business processes, product / trade life cycles and technical requirements related to investment systems.
  • Leading the creation and prioritisation of business requirements, user stories, impact assessments and solution designs in collaboration with stakeholders and delivery teams.

The successful candidate will have strong delivery mindset, ability to align technical execution with business strategy, excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including the ability to bridge business and technical domains.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Product Delivery: Own the product delivery for high-profile strategic transformation initiatives.
  2. Business Process Definition: Define and document business processes, product/trade life cycles, and technical requirements related to investment systems.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead the creation and prioritization of business requirements, user stories, impact assessments, and solution designs in collaboration with stakeholders and delivery teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner working on large-scale transformation within an Investment Bank, Investment Manager or Insurance firm.
  • Deep understanding of financial products and the trade lifecycle across front, middle, and back-office functions.
  • Strong delivery mindset, with the ability to align technical execution with business strategy.
