Retail Shop Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced retail professional to lead our flagship store, a leader in sustainability and part of the circular economy. The successful candidate will have a passion for styling and attention to detail to uphold our visual merchandising standards.

  • Oversee the day-to-day functions of the sales floor and receiving/processing area
  • Lead by example and model outstanding customer service by engaging with customers and donors
  • Welcome and train new team members, supporting them to succeed and grow in their roles
  • Coach team members on general retail operations for best outcomes and sales
  • Lead meetings with stakeholders to ensure a safe culture within the business
About the Role

The Retail Shop Manager is responsible for leading a high-volume turnover flagship store. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their skills and experience in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the daily operations of the sales floor and receiving/processing area
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and donors
- Train and develop new team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their roles
- Coach team members to achieve best outcomes and sales results
- Lead meetings with stakeholders to maintain a positive and inclusive work environment
