Job Description

In line with their growth strategy, they seek an Investment Principal to join their Private Credit team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have prior experience at another investment firm (private credit) and some background in a leveraged finance team or something similar.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong commercial skills, quantitative ability, modelling skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will be an entrepreneurial and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and achievement drive, being a proactive and analytical thinker.

  • Focus on market trends, identifying new areas of business, and conducting detailed business due diligence to evaluate deal opportunities.
  • Develop financial models, undertake valuation analysis, and negotiate documentation with counterparties.
  • Prioritize preparing and presenting materials for discussion with the investment committee and interacting with management teams and key stakeholders.
