The Role:

We are seeking a talented Winemaker to join our team. As a Winemaker, you will be responsible for all day-to-day winemaking functions and assist in the effective management of the winemaking process stream.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shared responsibility for all day-to-day winemaking functions.
  • Assisting in the effective management of the winemaking process stream and close coordination with other departments.
  • Benchmarking Zilzie products against industry competitors and driving the Zilzie benchmark tasting program.
  • Quality control ensuring wines are within specification at all times.
  • Supporting new product development and winery sustainability initiatives.


Requirements:

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Oenology or related discipline.
  • 3-5+ years of winemaking experience.
  • Medium to large winery experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft programs.


Viticultural Knowledge:
Experience with EZY systems is an advantage.
