We require candidates with expertise in clinical specialist support to make a substantial contribution to the culture of individual, team, and organisational learning.

The Medical Director provides strategic direction and leadership to our health service, contributing to the advancement of medical education, patient safety, and effective clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical specialist support to the Simulation service
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of medical education and safe, effective patient-centered clinical practice
  • Support and lead the Gold Coast Heath Simulation Service and Clinical Governance service
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of individual, team, and organisational learning
Requirements
  • Evidence of vaccination or ability to be vaccinated against certain diseases
  • Tuberculosis screening
  • Declaration of serious discipline history
  • MBBS or equivalent registrable with the Medical Board of Australia plus Specialist registration with AHPRA
  • Internationally trained candidates may require Comparability Assessment
  • Relevant qualification and registration
  • Strong clinical and teaching experience
