Job Overview

The successful candidates will deliver exceptional care and support to clients in their own homes, enhancing and encouraging participation in their own care to maintain their independence where possible.



Salary & Benefits

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $34.69 + superannuation. Additionally, you will receive travel allowance of $0.99 per kilometer, provided with a mobile phone for work purposes, and enjoy paid parental leave provisions, among other benefits.



Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care tasks such as showering, grooming, toileting etc.
  • Assist with medication, meal preparation, domestic assistance/general housekeeping tasks, and social support in the community.
  • Follow a predetermined schedule, traveling from home to home, using a digital schedule and care plan autonomously via a mobile app.


Requirements

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, Disability is highly desirable, although not essential.
  • A minimum of 3 months relevant care worker experience or 6+ months relevant care worker experience without a relevant Certificate.
  • A valid Drivers' License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community.
