Your responsibilities will include the following broad areas:

- Implementing Educational Program and Practice
- Ensuring children's health and safety
- Maintaining a safe physical environment
- Attending staff meetings, demonstrating code of conduct and ethics with all stakeholders, and participating in ongoing professional development training
- Forming and nurturing strong relationships with children, implementing behaviour management strategies and maintaining the dignity and rights of each
- Developing and maintaining collaborative partnerships with families and communities
- Demonstrating governance and leadership in your contributions to the philosophy, goals and activities of the centres.

Some of the skills you possess are:

- Ability to relate to people from all walks of life
- Exceptional verbal communication
- Attention to detail and thoroughness
- Industry experience as a Room Leader is desirable, although not necessary, and you are wanting to advance your career with further ongoing training and mentoring
- Computer skills of a basic level and are willing to be trained
- Able to lead and mentor your fellow team members

Your qualifications and experience will include:

- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) and willing to study Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent); or
- Early Childhood or Primary Teaching Degree.
- A minimum 24 months' industry experience is essential for the role.
