Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced educator with a strong commitment to Christian education. The successful candidate will have experience working with disengaged youth, neurodivergent students, and those experiencing mental health challenges.
Responsibilities
- To engage and support students with complex needs through personalized approaches
- To leverage their expertise in Mathematics to enhance student learning outcomes
- To implement trauma-informed teaching practices with disengaged secondary students
- To collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualized learning plans
Requirements
- A post-graduate qualification in education, special education, or mental health would be highly valued
- Proven ability to engage and support students with complex needs
- Recent experience with trauma-informed teaching practices is highly regarded
