Digital Account Director Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned media professional to join Havas Media Australia as a Digital Account Director and be part of the growing team in a collaborative, innovative and supportive media agency.

As our newest Digital Account Director, you will work closely with the Group Business Director to provide leadership, direction and high-quality day-to-day servicing for your client. You will oversee planning across predominantly online channels for two large clients. You will lead the overall communications strategy development process, providing key campaign insights, mentoring juniors within the team, and campaign reporting. You'll also have the opportunity to work on new business pitches.

You would collaborate with the specialist performance and digital teams that are responsible for managing campaigns from a technical perspective. You will require a strong working knowledge of digital and performance media and have the ability and confidence to communicate with clients in these areas.

The role requires a passion for great work and a desire to create something genuinely different. We are looking for someone who is a go-getter and a master of managing client relationships at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of client relationships, communications and processes
  • Organic growth for your clients (based on collaboration with internal departments)
  • Identification of opportunities to monetise existing and additional products
  • The development of proactive strategies and ideas for identified clients
  • Ensure reporting is delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Maintaining or (where required) improving client satisfaction scores.
  • Identifying the key opportunities for clients and Havas Media
  • Work closely with the Group Business Director to deliver communications innovation for our clients.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, overseeing team KPIs, performance reviews and development.

Requirements:

  • Approx 5+ years media agency experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience in digital media / marketing
  • Experience managing and leading client relationships, particularly with an ability to manage many stakeholders
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with colleagues, publishers, partners & clients
  • Experience project managing media campaigns with a high attention to detail
  • Effective written communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with, or a desire to, manage the delivery and development of juniors
  • Positivity and proactivity in your approach, with a desire to leave no stone unturned to get the best result for your client.
