Restaurant Operations Leader

This role is crucial for supporting the daily functioning of our restaurant, maintaining high service standards, and leading a team of staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clear customer focus by ensuring service standards are consistently met at all times.
  • Ensure the presentation of the restaurant and staff meets the highest Resort standards.
  • Train and induct new staff, with ongoing coaching and team development to enhance their skills.
  • Order stock in a timely manner and according to resort guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Essential experience working in a high-end la carte restaurant at middle management level is required.
  • Hotel restaurant experience is highly desirable.
  • Formal qualifications in Hospitality or Restaurant management, or equivalent work experience, are necessary.
  • Demonstrated experience in training, development, and counseling of staff is expected.
  • A valid RSA certificate or ability to obtain one is mandatory.
  • Good wine knowledge is an advantage.
  • High level of personal presentation and grooming is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written English language skills are required.
