Job Title: Customer Delivery Driver

We are seeking a skilled Customer Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering customer orders in a timely and efficient manner.

About the Role

A Customer Delivery Driver role involves driving a van to deliver customer orders. You will need to navigate through busy streets, suburban roads and/or regional areas, and be able to safely manage your shift from start to finish.

The unique benefits of this technology include:

  • Van is pre-loaded with orders, arranged by route, and in the most efficient way.
  • Easily manage your shift from start to finish.

However, there are challenges:

  • You'll need to deliver orders within a set timeframe and safely.
  • Maintain the van, including keeping it clean and re-fuelling.
  • Have the ability to be on your feet and carry out moderate lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching within a highly automated environment.
About You and Your Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • An unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence or green probationary license and safe driving record.
  • Confidence to safely drive and navigate through busy streets, suburban roads and/or regional areas.
  • To be active – as well as driving, you'll be on your feet, lifting and carrying groceries from the van to your delivery points.
  • A commitment to providing great customer experiences.
  • Following procedures and ensuring schedules and deadlines are met.
  • Availability to work flexible hours across the week, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ideally a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate or card.
